The only thing that went right in this meal was how the sauce was smooth this time.
I will need to find a better recipe to follow because the sauce was so bland, partly my own fault for adding mild curry powder. I always keep learning and adapting recipes for my personal preference.
The hand blender is helping out nicely to smooth these sauces. Very pleased I brought one but I am having to be careful blending hot liquid.
I only followed the recipe for the sauce and didn’t add the chutney, maybe this is where I went wrong…
.. or it could just be the lack of spice.
I only used Pako crumbs this time and the chicken was so plain with the Katsu seasoning. I need to either find a recipe to season the chicken more or a packet.
Overall it was okay just bland. Luckily for me my son still couldn’t taste very well after covid so he didn’t taste any of it Lol.
Sometimes things don’t work out and that is okay.
