Lovely lemon drizzle cake by Mary Berry
my favourite part of having this cake was how the surgery icing on top absorbed though the cake and goes crunchy on top. Very easy cake to make and tastes good too! just cut it into slices to have a piece at a time. You don't need to worry about any fancy decorating.
I did however leave it in the oven a bit too long and needed to remove some of the burnt bits but that didn't matter because of the lemon icing going over the top and just meant it absorbed it better.
